چکیده
A set of 2D steady state finite element numerical simulations of electromagnetic fields, eddy currents distribution and induction heating pattern has been done for different thicknesses of ametal workpiece. Comparison between the calculation results show the importance of workpiece thickness on induction heating process including electromagnetic field distribution, eddy currents pattern, heating structure and coil efficiency. Computational Modeling of Induction Heating Process
An accurate 2D steady state mathematical model for induction heating process is described and additional results of electromagnetic field, eddy currents distribution and volumetric heat generation have been computed for a sample setup using a finite element method. For the calculations, the input voltage of induction coil is set to be 200 V with a frequency of 10 kHz. It was shown that for the ...

Computer modeling for the design of inductors for different applications in the induction heating process often seems to be necessary to save costs caused by the trial and error. In this paper, the effects of the number of loops in the induction heating process with the numerical solution of the Maxwell equations have been investigated using finite element method (FEM) and the COMSOL MULTIPHYSI...

Introduction: It is important that biological and health effects from the induction of currents and fields in the body by extremely low frequency (ELF) fields are fully explored to determine the effects produced at the molecular, cellular and organ levels. The objective of this study was to evaluate the intensity of ELF electromagnetic fields and its probable relationship with hematological cha...
متن کاملNumerical study of induction heating by micro / nano magnetic particles in hyperthermia
Hyperthermia is one of the first applications of nanotechnology in medicine by using micro/nano magnetic particles that act based on the heat of ferric oxide nanoparticles or quantum dots in an external alternating magnetic field. In this study, a two-dimensional model of body and tumor tissues embedded is considered. Initially, the temperature distribution is obtained with respect to tumor pro...
متن کاملExperimental Study of the Voltage and Number of the Coil Rounds in Electromagnetic Forming Process of the V shape Aluminum sheets
Electromagnetic power, which is one of the fast ways for forming, is used for forming workpieces without having any effect on them. Using it causes the workpieces to reach the minimum back spring and tear; consequently building the equipment like pistons will cost less than before. Electromagnetic power is used for forming Aluminium sheets into V shapes in this study. As the coils connect the m...
